Another is wanting to appeal to western audience. I recall them saying they wanted GoW like numbers. Thats not going to happen and this will end up as they lowest selling DMC. Dragons Dogma was another reason as lots of DMC staff work on it. Devil May Cry reboot is more about the absurd theory that only western games sell in the west and in their mission to westernize they throw out everything that was loved about the series( happens nearly every time a Japanese series is rebooted by west). They dont have to play the game to know what they like isnt there |
But it's not gone at the core. i have played them all and this one stays faithful while doing new things.
