If this happened to Nintendo, they would be out of business in a matter of months but because Sony could literally throw money at it from other areas in the company, they were able to survive. |
No they wouldn't.... my God you know nothing.
Nintendo wouldn't go out of business because they have cash reserves to protect them from a PS3-like launch failure.
Now, today (which is what matters in this topc), if Sony were to have another PS3-like launch failure it would be forced to withdraw from the market. No big daddy like you said.
