"However, given that it has now become clear that we have not yet fully communicated the value of our product..." Ok, that quote pisses me off. Does Nintendo really think a successful console is based on just "communicating" the system's worth? Well no wonder the 3DS and now Wii U have struggled so hard out of the gate then. Talk is worth nothing. We need actual software that demonstrates, not just communicates, the system's value. Geez I'm a Nintendo diehard, but if that's the attitude they're taking they're leading it to failure. Nothing they can say will make people get it if there aren't good enough games. And this 6 month 2013 drought us early adopters are now looking at is very irritating to go through again, and very few new adopters are gonna come on board during it.

No, he's right about communicating the value of the product. The thing about his wording is that it isn't precisely about its direct "worth" but he's more saying that he needs to communicate to others why should they get X or Y system. One of the things that was paired up with his wording of communicating the value of their product was the release of more software.
