It has an identity crisis and does not know who it's consumers are.... it was either a year to late, or a year to early, depending on who you ask. Maybe that's why Nintendo isn't marketing it.
Mostly though, it doesn't have enough games and isn't needed by the casuals or the hard core, with a price drop and more must haves it'll probably do alright, I'm thinking at least better then the Gamecube and original Xbox.
