Vita and Wii U would certainly have more thought into their release schedules by 3rd parties then the situation right now. I mean their is less releases this year then in recent memory if all the next gen consoles would be out then 3rd parties would be more inclined to port to Wii U and vita then now. If anyone is to blame for the video game collapse by mismanaging new consoles it would be Nintendo. I have absolutely no idea why Nintendo decided to end their generation early. The last years of the Wii clearly showed Nintendo didn't have a winning (so they thought) strategy at the beginning of the generation and they clearly couldn't or didn't want to adopt one.
