Most of the cart-based systems like my Atari 7800, SNES, Genesis and N64 are pretty much indestructible, as is my top-loading NES. My original NES is another story... it takes a miracle to get most of my games to run on it without the blinking red light of death. Handhelds like my original GB, GBA and DS pretty much are indestructible as well.
My GameCube was actually my first console that I ever had a serious problem with... less than 6 months after I got it at launch, I started getting disc-read errors for pretty much all of my games because the laser stopped working properly. Sent in for repairs and it took about a little over 3 weeks to get back but it was good as new and Nintendo customer service was great.
360 (of course) was also a problem... got an elite Falcon model in Dec 2007, and a year later it got the RROD. Haven't had a problem since.
