things will be tough for WiiU, i hope it does well its a nifty machine but simply hasnt got the cheap price to net in casual crowds theres a huge difference between when i bought Wii at £175 and WiiU at £249 had it been sub £200 it would have done very well so far

Some very good points. However, my concern is that the PS4 and 720 may well start even slower. If that happens, what can we say then? 

Nintendo has the largest fanbase (arguably), and it will be the cheapest console coming off the success of its predecessor. The other consoles will have their 7th gen counterparts with games being released still on an even higher price...it's not looking particularly promising.
