"you can't say whatever you want, if it's uncivil, its uncivil" - I can say whatever I want. I think you are being uncivil that you are trying to tell others they can't express their opinions. Yah your mom got creampied too for u to be born, so did everyone's mom on this forum. You may not want to imagine that mental picture (don't do it), but it's the truth. Yes yes, what i have not seem yet may not be untrue, that I agreed with you, but base on the law of gravity, splitting the red sea in half with current scientific knoweldge is "Improbable"; therefore I do not believe it is a true story. Perfectly intelligent comment, perfectly logical deduction. On the other hands, just believing in something that "maybe" true but most likely NOT TRUE based on what we know is probably not a very logical decision. |
I can't help the first para. If I was going about saying racist comments, I technically could say whatever I liked, it doesn't make it civil or honorable. If you can't make that distinction, I'm sorry it can't be helped.
It's not logical in general, I can understand that. But when you compound the history of christianity, the historicity of Christ, the mention of dinosaurs in the bible, the bias in the scientific community regarding dating, and the growing anti-christian sentiment in today's society, compounded with the depth of the christian religion (if you took the time to read it, it has nothing selfish in it, no not even control, since the bible is anti-control there are many verses on this), I see absolutely not why the bible is wrong.
The only ultimate question left for the believer is "are miracles a reality"? Once you come to the possibility of this whole universe being made by God himself, miracles become a no-brainer.
