They could only play together in Division 1 College Football since it doesn't have a salary cap and players don't get paid ( not officially anyway) and even then it only would be for three years since most very talented players declare for the draft after their Junior year. As a matter of fact Divison 1 college Football is the only US sport where the best team wins the national title on a consistent basis even without having a playoff system.
