The sales in my opinion are fine, but I think Wii U similarly to the Wii is build for stronger initial sales then say X360 or PS3 were. Those two were build for a longer generation, while the Wii U looks like a 5 year main platform in my eyes, so it should have taken off a bit better, yet I'm sure it will be more than fine once more of the franchise all people love come out.
