Wii U third party support is as good as it has been on a Nintendo home console since the SNES era.

The big problem is not third party support, it is first and second party support. Not really any triple A titles available, and none have been announced either. The closest thing we have is a 2D Mario game, a brand tarnished very recently with a very repetetive 3DS iteration just months before. Bring 3D Mario, which is synonymous with excellence since it was released in Galaxy form and topped the all time highest rated games chart, a Mario Kart game which has been excellent since the GC and GBA monstrosities, the Zelda game with a new BIG direction that we have been waiting for since Majora's Mask on N64, or a major label RPG developed in-house by Nintendo: Xenogears co-produced with Square and developed by Monolith, or give us ANOTHER EARTHBOUND, even a finally completed Earthbound 64 would do. Something big, something bad (in that 1980's kind of way, where bad means awesome), and something that WILL turn the heads of the millions and millions of traditional gaming fans all around the world. Nintendo is capable of developing a game which will make the entire third party industry look mediocre in comparison, that's the game we're looking for, another Super Mario Bros. 3, Donkey Kong Coutry, Ocarina of Time, or Mario Galaxy.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
