Well, I guess I was enjoying it to some degree whilst I was playing it, though never nearly as much as I enjoyed AC2.

It's just looking back that I see how disappointing it really was.

I suppose it's still a high 7 to a low 8, but that puts it fourth in the series for me (behind II, Brotherhood and Revelations), and I was hoping it would be the best of the lot. This is what annualised releases do to a franchise

I wouldn't say that it had much to do with the annual release, just a few poor choices in development

I suppose you could say that the poor choices had much to do with needing to come up with good new ideas every year, but I had no problem at all with the supposed buginess of the game
