does anyone else just see the wii u sales as very typical for a new console?

Its doing better then ps3 and 360 were currently doing when they came out. So I don't see how much better it could be expected to do.

Those numbers are from this site, they could always be adjusted. Its best to wait on Nintendos fiscal q numbers. The 360 was not popular at launch and the PS3 was supply constrained. Furthermore there is literally no hype going on at all for the console.
