I'll get some major flack about what Im saying but its the truth. I can't blame 3rd parties for being hesitant about bring their big gun hardcore franchises over to the Wii U user base when theres little evidence theres a market for them there. Wii U owners will have a major chance to put their money where their mouth is with Bayonetta 2. Its exclusive, isnt a late port, and isnt gimped on features. It's vitally important that game does well. I expect heavy 3rd party support from Japan however as it appears Nintendo is really focused on that market |
Funny. I don't recall Nintendo owners ever being given a chance to purchase a big-gun hardcore franchise. Outside of Monster Hunter, which we bought.

Dont mistake what Im saying. I agree 3rd parties didnt do their best for Wii owners at all. They gave really late, often shoddy ports. And many times nothing at all.
Thats why Im saying Bayonetta 2 is VERY important. Its exclusive, core, and fully designed for Wii U. Nintendo fans need to support this title

I don't think many Nintendo fans will buy a sequel of a game they never got to play.
ZombiU was exclusive, core, and fully WiiU designed and that only ended up selling decently, this trend cannot continue if we want 3rd party support. Personally I'm hoping MH3U does really well, so WiiU will at least get noticed in Japan.
I think western 3rd party just won't come, but at least I have a PC for that.
