I find it's usually not the same formula though. That's why it doesn't get old for me; Nintendo is constantly reinventing their franchises with new ideas. Mario Galaxy isn't the same as Mario 64. Metroid Prime 3 isn't the same as Super Metroid. Skyward Sword isn't the same as Majora's Mask. Kirby's Epic Yarn isn't the same as Kirby's Dreamland.

even if they lost the adult gamer... there are still new kids out there to be their next target
