The difference is that there will be 2 console companies pushing very hard to get people to buy their console and 3rd parties will be doing the same (because they know they probably wont sell many games on the Wii-U)... Thats alot pushing for a Sony/MS buy, compared to at the moment, Nintendo. So Nintendo *might* have games by the end of the year, but they are going to have to be big hitters to compete with three parties all pushing for next gen. It doesnt help Nintendo that there will also be the cheaper current gen consoles still getting releases and selling at a cheaper rate. |
True, but the current gen consoles will be getting phased out by PS720 launch, so they no longer pose a threat at that contention point, amiright?
