The touch screen worked on the DS because it was a fantastic input device for portable gaming. But they are two different sets of wants/needs. I really think Nintendo made the mistake Sony did, they just did it backwards. Unlike Sony who thought what would work on their home console would work on their handheld, Nintendo thought what would work on their handheld would work on their home console.

If they lower the price point and add quite a few more games then I'm sure it'll sell well.
