Im cant belive I'm wasting my time on this but here it is.
The SSlim design released in the US at OCT 30th
By the week ending Nov 3rd. The Ps3 hardware sales in USA went up by 59%. It only dropped 9% the following week becuase of the Halo launch. If we put this in to perspective the 9% drop was cushioned by the SSlim launch.
The Black SSlim design released in Japan at OCT 4th
By the week ending OCT 7th. The ps3 hardware sales in Jap went up by 374%. Although this probably coincided with RE and PES release. But huge bump non the less. And the white SSlim design released at Nov 22nd. By the week ending Nov 25th. The Ps3 hardware sales went up 100%. Probably helped by COD sales.
The SSlim design released in Eu at Sep 28th.
By the week ending Sep 29th. The ps3 HW sales went up by 91% as compared to 360 by 33%. By week ending Oct 6th, Ps3 HW sales went up 9% as compared to 360's -9%. The 12 gb released in EU at OCt 12. By the week ending Oct 13th. The ps3 HW sales went up by 17% as compared to 360 by 8%.
Meaningless? Hardly.
