Not to sound like a sceptic but, is there any way to know Europe numbers besides VGC and investor meetings?

Looking at Pal charts the EU situation is much uglier than the US one.  There is no chance in hell (bar a price drop) that they will match those shipped estimates 

I think a nose dive is coming for Japan too now that the holiday rush is over. DQX is March at the earliest, and this game is one with a limited audience because of the monthly charge and it's already been released on the Wii months ago. 

I'll eat a hat too if the Wii U sells anywhere near 300k for January, extra week and all. I'm thinking more like 150k.
