So, maybe DS can top PS2 now and become the best selling video game system ever. It's only 2.45 million units behind and it sold 3.53 million units this year. If it does okay, it should top PS2 within 2 years .

LEts see if Wii can top PS1 now.

No chance, considering PS2 outsold DS last year, the gap is probably around 3-4m. I'll be surprised if DS manages 1m shipped before it is discontinued.

PS2 currently has shipped 157.3 million, so if it's discontinued, then DS only needs to gain 3.03 million.
