Your right but its a hard choice! If sony puts Uncharted 4 (which is one of top IP they have) exclusive for Vita, That push hardware easily up, say a mil around 3months (which is great for just one game pushing) and it gets 1.5mil software, which is excellent for its user base. Problem is on PS3 they can make over 5times the amount IMO. Games will stay at $60, way bigger user base, and i think people perfer home console. Jus saying its smart but Sony needs the money and probably go with another spinoff 1st then a main series on Vita |
It's a tough business choice but a no brainer if they desperaitly need to increase Vita sales without a price cut. Uncharted 4 would be the biggest gamble with also the biggest reward. Due to the relativly good sales of Golden Abyss yet less than stelar reviews this is Sony's smartest move in my opinion. The game would cost less than Uncharted 3 to develop (due to the smaller screen) and would could sell millions with heavy bundling. Also since Uncharted 4 would have to be on the PS4 instead of the PS3, there is not really a lost profit potential.
