When switching applications it takes a while. Exiting a game is probably the longest. Sure it's bearable, but just not what I'd expect from a next gen system.

The most you can multi task with the Wii U is by loading Miiverse or Internet Browser while having something else loaded (like a game or Netflix/Hulu+). You can't have two games going at once. To be able to switch to Miiverse or the Browser while in a game or streaming service works fine with me. Also, UI over complicated? It makes me wonder if you even have a Wii U. |
While in a game you can press home and select a few different things to do such as go online or browse the eshop. It's weird because it is tied to the game, that's it. Sure it works but differently than I expected.
Yes the UI is over complicated. I'm used to smartphones and Vita. Heck I even think the 3DS ui is simpler. Oh and at times miiverse pisses me off. After dieing ten times in the same spot I don't want to read some prick's comment "it's easy if you're good
" Also the digital manuals are pretty fancy.
