Do you play pokemon still and how old are you?

I have not played Pokemon in years but i plan on picking up Pokemon X or Y.

I never really watched the cartoon when I was little.  I watched a few episodes but I played the games before the I watched the show.

I also played the game before i even knew about the TV Show. Back when i first got Pokemon Blue i only thought of it as this great new RPG from Nintendo with a new catch to it in that instead of getting team mates to join your party and fight with you you go and capture monsters and battle with them.

When i first got the game the TV Show wasnt known about outside of Japan i think.

But yeah i remember people only started thinking of Pokemon as a game for kids after the TV show started and before that it was this great new JRPG.

haha Yeah true.  I remember seeing that Blue Turle when i was 6 years old and i just had to have it.....Wait was I 6?  Pokemon came out in 1996 or did it come out in 97?  II bought it when it first came out but thats crazy if it's been 16 years since ive played my first porkemon game O.O
