Although, I would say go with a more unknown actress/actor, one that people don't already try to ingore.
I actually really like the controller, and while I would enjoy a sexier re-design, I would not be keen on a smaller one. I already have handheld systems.
Points 2-4: don't give a damn about large and bloated third parties unless they want to become second parties. I feel Nintendo can generally do a lot better at the center of a bunch of second parties than trying to get third party games.
Invest in smaller companies, TOTALLY agree. Maybe form a lot of strong alliances here with the best of these.
Square Enix, FF7 on a Nintendo console is something that should have happened a long time ago. 3DS has had FF7 rumored before, MAKE IT SO.
