Wii Sports sequel.
Zelda without any Aonuma influence what so ever.
2D Mario with production values and new content.
Smash Bros that is balanced, easy to play but as deep and melee.
3D Mario with focus on exploration, like SM 64.
New DKC by Retro.
New IP by Retro, or Miyamoto.
2D Sonic from Sega that is made like how I want it to be.
Pokemon, any platform.

Why no Aonuma?

Love the rest of the list :)

There are so many reasons why, and many articles from many writers that sums up my opinion of Aonuma, but I think Malstrom made the most extensive one  :)

Damn, that is one serious rant. I only skimmed the article, but it seems like he wants Zelda to return to the mechanics of the first three Zelda games? And he thinks there's too much fluff and puzzle-solving?

I have to stand up for Aonuma, only because I think all the games he's worked on are excellent games. Some of them are all-time greats. "Modern Zelda," as Malstrom calls it, is in many ways superior to the original three games.

The three first games AND Ocarina of Time. Then Aonuma got power over the series.

I agree with him, because I love every game up until Ocarina of Time, after that, every Zelda has stopped feeling like Zelda, and just felt wrong and boring. Especially their move from epic fantasy to more of an anime style.

I LOVE ICELAND!
