If they both working sounds like windows is reserving it for something. I know mine does it for the onboard video card. So could check your bios to see if onboard video somehow activated. or if some of your ram is being reserved to your actual gfx card. |
my video card is a GeForce GTX580 with 1.5gb. So I doubt that is the reason for the reserving memory. I can change the settings with msconfig, and put 4gb as maximum RAM to be used, but is it recommended???
