Something to note about Mario Kart.

The series tends to have unbelievable attach-rates. Pretty amazing.

Super Mario Kart - 8.8 Million
SNES - 49 Million
~17%

Mario Kart 64 - 9.9 Million
N64 - 32.9 Million
~30%

Mario Kart Double Dash - 6.95 Million
Gamecube - 21.75 Million
~32%

Mario Kart Wii - 33.3 Million
Nintendo Wii - 98.6 Million
~33%

That's actually a pretty interesting note.

I wonder how MK7's attach rate is doing. Do you know?

Using numbers from the 22nd...

Mario Kart 7 - 7.2 Million
Nintendo 3DS - 26.3 Million
~27%

Worth noting though that Portable Mario Kart doesnt tend to have an attach-rate as good as Home Console Mario Kart in the long run
