I'm going to try to get to a game in August when I'm in Florida. Rays v Yankees!! Anyone know how easy/difficult it is to get tickets? I have registered on the Rays site for ticket notifications.

Rays, just like the Marlins do not fill the seats. Not really a big baseball area.

You will be able to just drive to the stadium and buy them at the gate.

Even in August? Awesome.  Now I need someone that knows the stadium and atmosphere to tell me the best day of the three to go and where to sit? I was thinking the evening game rater than the daytime two. What do you think? 

Yup, all year long.

Personally, if I were to go I would try to get tickets for a night game. I also prefer to sit along the 1st or 3rd baseline, lined up with either of the bases. That gives you a great view for the game, regardless of where the ball is hit. You could even sit in the section behind field level and the view would be phenominal.

Be sure to grab the game with the best pitchers on the mound. If yu could, try to see if one of the games has Sabathia (Yanks) or Price (Rays).

 

I also hope when you go the Yankees get no-hit.
