I don't know about the uk, but sony released the vita version in australia... but not the PS3 version for some reason :/
But you can buy it from any australian retailer, i think it might be the same in the uk
Also, mlb 12 sold around 850k and it grew 300k from the previous one, i wouldn't be surprised if this one scraped past 1million, considering it's the only baseball game left.

I'm going to try to get to a game in August when I'm in Florida. Rays v Yankees!! Anyone know how easy/difficult it is to get tickets? I have registered on the Rays site for ticket notifications. |
Rays, just like the Marlins, do not fill the seats. Not really a big baseball area.
You will be able to just drive to the stadium and buy them at the gate.
As for the 750k, MLB 12 The Show did 850k on PS3 alone, which was way up from the sales of MLB 11 The Show. So without the 2K series anymore it definitely might have a shot at 1M in 2013. Rightly so too. the 2K games just aren't on the same level as The Show.

Yup, all year long.
Personally, if I were to go I would try to get tickets for a night game. I also prefer to sit along the 1st or 3rd baseline, lined up with either of the bases. That gives you a great view for the game, regardless of where the ball is hit. You could even sit in the section behind field level and the view would be phenominal.
Be sure to grab the game with the best pitchers on the mound. If yu could, try to see if one of the games has Sabathia (Yanks) or Price (Rays).
I also hope when you go the Yankees get no-hit.
Yeah, i'm a Mets fan.
Yeah, I know my team sucks.

Oddly, the Vita version is on the UK PSN.
MLB 12 sold just shy of a million according to our figures, will probably pass it once this week's numbers are added:

So I think 750k may be selling it a bit short. It normally sells through legs rather than front-loaded though, so a PS4 announcement could leave it short.
Finally, I hope you enjoy the game. We managed to find some Mets tickets when I went to NY. Really enjoyed it.
MLB 12 sold really well(Best selling and first in the serie to sell over 1million) and now that it's the only baseball game it might even do better!

Actually, every MLB: The Show game from 06-10 sold over a million, but it was PS3/PS2/PSP combined.
Then MLB 11 kind of under-performed across those 3 systems and sold less, but now MLB 12 is back to over a million on PS3/Vita, which just shows the migration of platforms I guess.
