For me it goes: Read OP ---> read first page of comments ---> depending on whether there's a juicy argument (or potential for one) I either continue reading, or I post something ---> I read the comments on the last page above my post.

It's cool. I just had to say something after I had 2 laughs stolen from me. I have it set to 100 posts per page and I usually read them all.
