Halo 4 sells more in 7 weeks than GT:5 sold in its first year

Halo 3 seemed to match the legs of GT5 even with a higher opening.

Halo 3 had the luxury of being released early on in the 360s life. Halo 4 has potentially 1 Year until a new generation of Xbox. I think it will severely cut the potential legs of Halo 4.

You do realize that tons of people still played Halo 2 on their 360 same think will happen with the 720 and Halo 4 even if its not backwards compatiable since a digital version or a enhanced version will be available close to the launch.  Anyway Halo 4 will soon be available on games on demand so we will never know its true sales number since those numbers aren't available to the public.
