First time, completed heroic solo; second was legendary solo. Right now I'm going co-op on heroic. Playing it on legendary solo, it's harder the first several levels imo especially the levels where you flying a banshee or driving a vehicles. You'll run out of ammo fast, so make sure your shots count. I don't think it's the most difficult (halo 2 has that crown), but it's up there.
