As expected, and the Wii sold much better than expected. But Nintendo's domination was on the portable side.

Sure, but the Wii and Wii U combined didn't even beat the PS3 or the 360 last week, hardly domination overall. No one is denying that the 3DS is soundly beating the Vita, there can be no doubt about that, but claiming that MS and Nintendo have dominated December is flat out wrong in the big picture. Not to mention 2012 as whole.
