I would not base the beginnings of any argument on a wiki article with very little set in stone facts. "Seems to be" and "quite similar" are not things you can base your stance on, as well as that the second comment does not even have a citation as to where it came from, just some random person wrote it up on wiki because someone may have linked it to them as fact.

 

but how will it be possible to run wii-games then if the isa is different? because it most probably isn't which is of no surprise as it is still a ppc. yes, by now it is unconfirmed but time will tell us soon enough. and also, there are no "counterfacts" by now.

Are you suggesting that to run the Snes/N64 games the Wii therefore uses the same Architechure as the Super Nintendo? And just because there wasn't someone with the exact right specs on wikipedia, that doesn't mean that the first person to make the page there is right, as much as the cited pages of "exclusive world first teardown click here" definately do not look like they're trying to get hits in any way shape or form.
