If you want XBL to stand up to PSN+ then it should do so on its own merits. The fact that this thread exists demonstrates the questionable value of XBL. You should not have to stretch so far to find enough content to combat what PSN+ has released in such a short period of time. This thread even lists items that are available to the silver account (the PSN+ thread doesn't list content that is free to all users) This thread demonstrates that XBL has become an expense that users have to form an argument to justify the value of. Not a good thing for the leading online service. |
And that's why people who have no clue about a certain topic should not come/post in a thread like this.
1. PS+ doesn't have any free games. You're paying to get free stuff (which is logically not free anymore)
2. You don't own the "free" stuff on PS+, you only rented them and you need to give them back once you stop paying
Better alternative: Go to a friend and ask him to borrow a certain game. Same effect but no costs involved at all.
3. This thread is about ACTUAL free stuff on XBL. NO gold membership required.
4. It's hilarious that you think that this topic was made to combat PS+.
