Yeah rrrright. I walk into Mediamarkt and see palettes of  250G XBox $229, 250G Kinect Bundle $269.. Sure looks like no price cut...

Why do people talk about third party price cuts like its a first party one? Microsoft only cut the 360 price until January. It was done for the holiday season because thats the only time they can outsell Sony. Black Friday sales all the way to Christmas covers the lead Sony usually has which tends to be over a million console lead throughout the year. Even though they lost the year to Sony over and over, they've hold the gap at two million (just above or just under). If it wasnt for forth quarter Sony could've closed the gap a year ago.
