Not going to dispute that there is a place for petitions, but I only mean to compare their effectiveness to remind people that if they actually want a game to come to a console, it's not necessarily enough to simply say you want it to happen. Personally, I would be more interested in some sort of pledge to buy GTAV for WiiU if it ever is released, as opposed to a "please bring it to Wii U because it would be cool" petition. Extra points if there is an option to include the signees' Nintendo Network ID, to give it a little more legitimacy. A petition is a push, and in some circumstances might just work. However, to tackle the problem of improving third-party support on Nintendo home consoles, I will always reccomend a stronger option. |
From that optic, I can agree. But the original vantage point (to discredit one due to the supremacy of the other) I couldn't. Glad you put it into perspective.
