I don't think there is a holiday period comeback for the 360 anymore. Looking at recent sales, it has been within 10% of the PS3 since black Friday, and even on black Friday where the 360 usually outsells everything else by a large margin, the difference wasn't that big. When the PS3 does outsell the 360 it'll probably be permanent. There is still quite a gap to close though, so I'm guessing permanent in mid-2014.
