The Wii U numbers are only 2 days. What's this number from, launch week? launch day?

Launch week. I'm not sure how many days it had. Probably the same as Wii U, since almost everything releases on a Friday in Europe.

For some reason I remember bbeing out ona cold Monday night with a friend queueing up for one, so that would be a Tuesday launch (same as COD and other blockbuster games).

I have just checked and it was indeed a launch on Friday, but effective a week later. Must have been COD we were waiting for.
