Limited rental service? My over 180 Plus games says hi.

Best service I ever see in a videogame... so much win.

Compare the "free" games to the entire PSN list and yeah, it's limited to what Sony picks for you. You don't even get to keep them if you unsubcribe.

Think of it as a rental service then. It's still incredible value, especially considering most people who subscribe to PS+ keep that subscription going, effectively "renting" games for years and years. Then there's the discounted games, which you keep after the subscription ends.

I understand if you aren't particularly fond of the service, but there's no disputing its awesomeness.

it's not really incredible value because the value of those games is much less for people who didn't already buy them and you have probably already played some of them if they are good which means you can only count the games you did not play already.

if someone didn't buy a game he could get as retail version for let's say 15 dollars, what do you think the real value of this game is for this guy as digital version he can play as long as he pays for the service? i don't really think you can see a value above a few dollars for this game. i bought the thq humble bundle with saints row the third and other games and i paid 6 dollar for it. not because i am a cheap ass, because the value of this whole bundle wasn't more worth to me. and if i can get 10 games on ps+ of which i already played 5 or so and the other 5 weren't worth a small amount as retail version to me the value of these game as timed digital download is not really worth a lot to me.

it is a fair priced service but i don't really see why so many call it so incredible if they look at how much the value of those games is for them. i mean, if the price is so incredible it means it could cost much more to be still a good price. if it would cost 2-3x as much as it costs right now i think it would flop and almost nobody would pay for it which shows that sony is taking what it's worth for people, not more and not less.
