Do you have a data drive.

You can just go to steamapps--> common. Cut a game folder and put it in a data drive. When you want to install it just transfer it from your data to solid state drive. And click install in steam. That way you can have all your games, but only the ones you really want to play at the moment on your ssd.

Steam needs to fix this though. Let you choose where to put older games or something on 2  different drives.
