I agree with gergroy skyrim doesn't really give much storry wise. Hell there is not a single memorable character.
Sure most holywood movies dont need memorable characters if you have huge battles exlosions and other bang in it but you dont need peter jackson for that.
if you actually wanted to make a "deep" movie you'd have to rewrite almost everything and since the world of skyrim seems to be your average post-tolkien highfantasy bull it would probably be easier to rewrite that as well...
