You mean Brees pulled a Favre.  He threw 6 picks in a playoff game once and more than anyone ever.

Rol, just face it.  Without their entire coaching staff the Saints are not as good of a team as the Falcons.  There is a reason why a head coach gets paid a lot of money and the Saint's seaon is a testament to that.  I'm not saying that Ryan and the Falcons aren't a tad overrated, but they are a pretty darned good team until they are in the playoffs.  Maybe they can change that this year.

Favre having Reggie White come over to the Packers to lead the team to the Super Bowl, now that's "dumb luck".

Didn't Peyton Manning also have a six interception game at some point?

Yes, the Saints have problems. And if we discussed all this stuff yesterday before the game, you would have more of a point. But if you watched yesterday's game, you would have seen a Falcons team that almost imploded after a 17-0 lead. "Almost", because they got their act together in the fourth quarter with big help from Brees. If you look at the stats (total yards, time of possession), it's clear that this wasn't a game that was dominated by the Falcons.

I don't think that it was during the playoffs.  He also doesn't have the most for a career.

I did watch the fourth quarter and Brees threw those Ints late in the game because of pressure.  Sure, the Falcons could blitz more because they were ahead, but that's the luxury of having a lead.  Total yards and time of possession don't mean anything in a game with 5 turnovers.  Often, the team with five turnovers has more yards and time of possession because they are playing catch up while the other team plays more conservatively.  Yardage and TOP are not always indicators of which team played better.
