If you haven't played the games you will never understand it. I have played every Zelda game (excluding CD-i) and this timeline still confuses me a little lol.

Anyway amazing video, the music was perfect and it explains the games and the timeline very well, big probs to the guys who put the effort in making this video. Can't wait for Hyrule Historia!! 

The video says that because of Ocarina of time, 3 time lines are generated, but I dont understand the explanation.    The younger link time line I understand, because it is the time line that continues the exact events that happened in the end of Ocarina of time, from a Link perspective.

The adult link time follows the events of Ocarina of time, but from the perspective of princess Zelda.  What I dont understand here is if Link was sent to the past, how the hell there is another link in that time line for the following games?  In the video it even says that they were expecting for time travelling hero to come back, but he did not, and yet there is character named link WTF?!  it does not make sense for me at least.

And finally if Link was sent to the past, and therefore he defeated Ganon, (because if not he would not be able to go back in time), how can he be beated by Ganon then? And If Link is dead in that time line how there is another Link in the following games in that time line??

Considering some plot holes in the video, I dont think playing the games would make any difference.    But if you know some of the answers to the questions I have written, do you care to share them? :D
