Then I don't know what the problem is. Looking out over the sea from the palace balcony was a moment I will not soon forget. It's one of those points where the sheer size and beauty of the game left me speechless.

Well, it was nice especially seeing the Mechonis in the distance, that is true.

You'll be spending far longer here than in any other area, so I guess the scenery just grows on you. Looking from Alcamoth over it is particularly potent though.

It just seems a bit lifeless compared to the other areas. Especially the city looks a bit sterile compared to the other cities.

That's the idea really. It's supposed to be an advanced civilisation in an imperial setting. It's different, but it certainly livens up later. You'll grow to love it.
