Yea they successfully did that with Crash Team Racing :)

When was that? The PS1 days? That's like me using Goldeneye 007 on N64 as an example of how Nintendo can successfully woo the CoD crowd.

Yea it was back in the ps1 days but they still have done it at the end of the day ;)

I'm not conviced that Sony is the same as they used to be. In fact, that's a big reason why I didn't buy a PS3 this generation... definitely liked them more when they were more capably enchroaching on Nintendo's audience. Even I had a PS2 several years back.

Actually, Sony is a changed company. They are more self sufficient. Microsoft forced them to double their first party efforts in order to keep the high flow of gaming on their console that gamers are used to. Microsoft made themselves virtually indistinguishable to them in offerings but had a more affordable console and that was the deal breaker in the beginning.

That's true, but not quite what I meant. At this point, I'm just happy that Sly Cooper is making a comeback...

I never cared about Sly Cooper until I played Playstation Allstars. Now all I want to do is play his games. lol

Crossover fighting games are great gateway games. I didn't care much about Zelda before I played SSB on the N64. :D

This sums up Sly Cooper nicely: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2012/10/31/do-the-sly-cooper-and-assassin-s-creed-universes-coexist.aspx

LOL Looks like Sony has had their own version of Assassins Creed all this time.
