Who cares? God of War is a first party game which represents Sonys American branch in Santa Monica and the length of the amazing games that come out of that studio. As reggie said in the "Reggie on CNN" post, third parties make those games for Nintendo. God of War Its more well rounded in quality as any hack n slash can be while still in the action adventure genre. The only standing quality in Bayonetta is the hack n slash and nothing more, just like every other Platinum Games title. I play it for the gameplay but I throw out the rest of the experience because it isnt as memorable. |
A few Sony 1st party games are catered to the japanese, but they're from previous generations. Is it possible that, from a 1st party perspective, Sony ditched japan?
If so, you have a point. However, since the 360 has a more competitive playing field for that market, wouldn't Sony find more opportunity on the only other contender in the market (Nintendo)?
