Xenoblade was developed by Monolith Software which Nintendo purchased a few years ago so this is a 1st party game.

Oh I see, I thought these were both 3rd party games that Nintendo agreed to publish in the US after fans complained that there was nothing coming out for Wii other than Zelda and that they were already localized in English in other regions.
