I think what we have to remember, here, is the trans-generational improvement effect. Here we're talking about end-of-generation games on PS360, albeit not totally optimized (in the vein of the best PS3/360 exclusives), are still made by developers with something on the order of 4-7 years of experience working with the platform, and you're getting matching results (slightly better in some areas, slightly worse in others) made by developers that have only 1-1.5 years experience with the platform.

If this is the Wii U's baseline, then it will definitely improve from here.
