Can the PS3 overtake the XBox 360 by January 1, 2013?

If the 360 owners don't want to re-buy a new custom 360 because of COD or Halo, I think that the PS3 has a chance of continue leading this year by 1.5M. I think that the PS3 will definitely outsell the 360 after both next gen consoles arrive.
